Just as my disappearance must have became apparent, I was upgrading my comp to a new AMD Phenom X4 9850. Thought I would try the AMD line for a change.
During this expenditure, I also bought a OCZ 1010w PSU. I popped in the new power source without even a test. When I pushed the power button on the front of the case... POP! The motherboard fried. I waited two weeks for a new psu and motherboard. When I received the second motherboard and PSU. I proceed ed to test the psu and found it was bad also. In disgust, I shipped the psu back for a refund and used an old one I had been storing. It then took another three to four weeks or so the finally figure out that it had also fried my main hard disk drive.
Anyways, Three psu's, two motherboards, and much frustration later, I am finally where you read me today. I am so glad to be back.
